PR practitioner?

Give your opinion about a PR practitioner... What skills do a PR practitioner required and is it easy to become one? Give your suggestions...

  1. From the last class, i have found out that it is not easy to become a PR practitioner. It really required a high level of communication skills and a very great personal qualities...

  2. i think that a PR practitioner should have a lot of skills.. but the most important is that the research skills.. i think it's important to find out what the wants and needs of the public from the organization. there are a lot ways on how to evaluate this skill.

  3. Recently, our pr class has just finished chapter 5 which the topic is public opinion and persuasion. From the class i've learned that ethics in persuading a public is crucial even though the public is not aware whether we fabricating the facts, or using any negative approach to make them 'believe', yes we can win their trust, but the end of the day we are losing our values. Well, in my opinion to become a pr practitioner is like becoming a friend. We do have to communicate to our friend right, and i'm sure they will respond or give a feedback, 'two ways communication' hehehhehe, for me it's all about communication.
